Less than 32 weeks
You are free to travel without any special restrictions unless advised against air travel by a physician.
Single fetal gestation for 32 weeks or more ~ less than 37 weeks, Multifetal gestation for 32 weeks or more and less than 33 weeks
Air travel is permitted only if the conditions are met, and you must submit a medical certificate and a declaration form during the check-in process.
Based on the guidelines set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Medical Guidelines for Pregnant Passengers, there are separate criteria for the carriage of single and multiple pregnancies.
Single fetal gestation for 37 weeks or more or Multifetal gestation for 33 weeks or more
Travel is not allowed for the health of pregnant women and unborn babies.

* Documents required for air travel
① One copy doctor’s report per itinerary: A statement issued by an obstetrician-gynecologist within 7 days of flight departure (including round-trip within 7 days from the start date of the itinerary)
- Example) Pregnant guests with a medical certificate issued on February 1st must board before February 8th. If the return flight is on February 9th, they will not be able to board due to the expiration of the document.
※Essential information required on the medical certificate: Suitability for air travel (round trip), expected due date, primipara status, gestational age (based on the date of issuance), singleton/multiple pregnancies, presence of pregnancy-related complications.
- For international flights, both Korean and English versions of the medical certificate (two copies each) are required.
② One copy of the pledge form per journey: To be completed at the time of check-in using the form provided by the airline.
③ Note
- Even if the above documents are submitted, boarding may be refused if it is judged that air travel is impossible in consideration of the health condition at the airport on the day.
- When entering an overseas airport, each country has different requirements, so please inquire at the embassy or consulate of each country.
